We spent a week in Aruba over Thanksgiving, and Baby Beach was easily the highlight of the stay. We rented a Jeep to drive around the island, but ended up spending most of the day at BB. You do NOT need a jeep to get here, it's a good paved road all the way, and it actually is pretty much... more

As my car pulled in to the intersection between the county jail and incredibly deadly and disgusting Valero Oil Refinery, I thought maybe this attraction could be a little better. And right now, I'm gonna have to say..................... it is. Baby Beach, the beach itself ,not its surroundings or people, is incredible. My family and I came into this with... more

Great for first time snorklers. Driving upon Baby Beach was picturesque. The contrast in colors of the water was amazing. The only downfall was the refinery in the background but would highly recommend it. Snorkeling gear was $5 for the day and well spent. more

As the saying goes: What a dump! Only a designer of oil refineries (which this beach is next to) could consider this place lovely. There is so much beauty in Aruba that there is no need to over-hype this run down and poorly maintained area just because it has calm water. more

We spent a few hours at Baby Beach off of a cruise ship. It is quite a distance to the beach from the ship. the waters are nice and calm and you can walk quite a ways out into the ocean. You can also see the waves beyond the rocks. There is food and drink and chairs and umbrellas available.....It... more

We were a bit disappointed with our trip to Baby Beach. We went here while on a Jeep tour and spent about an hour here. The water is nice and blue and is shallow a long way out, so for kids it would be nice. The view of the refinery was just a bit unsettling to me, definitely marred the... more

We had a large group in Aruba for our wedding and 15-20 of us separately ventured to Baby Beach and give it a unanimous review of "overrated". The water is shallow and you are able to wade out quite a bit, but the snorkelling is nothing special whatsoever. We love venturing off the beaten path and getting away from the... more

Firstly, I just want to say that some of the other reviewers on this topic are a bit harsh. Yes, to get to baby Beach you have to drive past the Valero oil refinery, the island's prison, and some residential areas. The residential areas being described as "run down" is really not fair. It may be a shock after all... more

We were at Baby Beach on July 12, 2007. We went late in the afternoon and it was not busy. Great beach, lots of sand the water was warm and shallow around 4 feet deep. There is a building to buy food and drinks, but that was closing when we arrived, around 4 PM. There is an area where there... more
