Any search on-line of Alfred's in Negril will turn up rave reviews with declarations of it being the best night spot in Negril. Being that it's situated on Seven Mile Beach, one would think that could very well be true. I however, have to respectfully disagree. Alfreds was a blast. Plain and simple. Live reggae Tues, Fridays and Sundays. Great bar staff, entertainment and an awsome place for people watching. Just so you're not miss led, this was my first time in Jamaica, so I don't really have anything to compare it to, but I will say that if given a choice I would stay at Alfred's again. This is no fancy resort, it's a beach house, it's the bare necessities, no air, so you would want to stay there... more

We stayed next door at Negril Gardens (a great resort by the way) & the fact that they only had nice dinner music didn't matter as ALFRED'S was just a couple steps away!!!! A real treat.....great reggae band....dancing in the sand! more

On first impression the place looks a bit run down but dont be put off. The admission price is cheap and the entertainment is good. Alfred's is a great a place to hear good music and meet people from all over the world. The Bartenders are just the best! There is Donovan, Rudy, Winston and Kirk. We had a free meal plan and we didn't use it because Alfreds was so good. We went every day and the food is good, it is a Beautiful place, the staff is truly what makes the experience. they are the nicest people on the beach. more

Alfred's was the first club we went to when we got to Negril, it was OFF THE HOOK! The crowd was lively, the show and performers were fantasctic!
