My friends and i visited old San juan for one afternoon and had a wonderful time there. I hear the night life there is a great...but unfortunately did not get a chance to experience it. Great place to walk around, have a few drinks and shop. The old beautiful buildings are great and most of them have huge historic doors on the outside that are well known and many people collect small replicas of these doors which can be found in some of the gift shops there. more

So beautiful. So Caribbean. Even the BF who is from the Caribbean felt at home here, and loved how gorgeous it is. These several blocks are right on the ocean. I enjoy walking around Old San Juan especially on an escorted tour. So rich in history from the El Convento Hotel to El Morro. So interesting from the narrowest building in the world to the statues dedicated to the native peoples. more

We got off our cruise ship and just walked and walked and walked all around Old San Juan. Very picturesque, clean, tons of shops to browse, places to eat. Would love to go back and explore more of Puerto Rico. Old San Juan is a magical place with lots of old world charm. more
