1. Guell Park (Parc Guell)
| An AMAZING example of the creative genius that is Gaudi. This is a great park where you can walk to the top of the hill for great sunset views of the city, or stroll around enjoying the magnificent surroundings, or relax on the intricate mosaic encrusted benches, a must see for a memorable trip. |

2. La Rambla
| A buzzing street full of life, activity, tapas, superb to sit out and watch the people go by. Take your time to enjoy the street, the street performers are great! But do be careful, although I have never personally had a bad experience in Barcelona, I do know people who have bee pickpocketed, this is easyily avoided with basic vigilance and a small effort not to appear like a naive tourist! |

| For me a match is the only way to experience the amazing Nou Camp stadium. This is one of the great football stadiums in one of the great football cities. Barca is the only pro club which does not have a sponsor because it is supported by its fans. The atmosphere and passion you will see at a match in the Catalonian capital is unrivaled! |

| Definitely visist Montserrat on any trip to Barca. Completely worth the effort. Take the train from the city centre, relax and enjoy the trip. You then get a cable car up to the monastery, you can climb to the top of the mountains, this is completely worth the walk, take plenty of time, an early start is a good idea if you want to move at your leisure, the views are spectacular! |

6. Tapas Bars
| A great way to relax and take in the city is to just stroll from tapas bar to tapas bar, taking it easy, having a glass of nice local Rioja and some delicious tapas, the staff arevery helpful and chatty, Catalonians are great people! Especially if you take a minute to slag off the Spanish!! |

7. The Beach
| Relax at the beachside bars and cafes, cuppa coffee or glass of wine, watch the people, stretch out and catch some sun, watch a sunset, stroll along the beach, sampling the different bars and cafes till you find one to suit your style/taste, you cant beat it! |
