This may be the best hotel we have ever stayed in. We stayed in the Executive House Zen which is very pricey, but well worth it if you like unbelievable service. The rooms are modern and roomy by Japanese standards. This is a standout for business travelers or vacationers for whom the money is not the cheif concern. more

My husband and I stayed at the New Otani for four nights. Three nights we were in the Garden Tower and one in the Main. The Main tower is a newer more contemporary styled Tower. The rooms are the same size, but the Main tower rooms have a floor to ceiling window which gives you a nice view. The Garden... more

I have stayed at New Otani twice in 2008. On both occasions, it was for 3-4 days. The hotel is huge, and has a complex layout. On my first visit, I actually got lost and had to ask my way around. However, the staff is really efficient and helpful. They all speak English, so it wasn't a problem to find... more

Stayed a week in the hotel for a business trip. Location worked out good for work and getting out in the evening. It is a BIG hotel, kind of reminds me of something in Vegas. I have future travel to Tokyo and will probably book it again. more

The hotel complex is massive, but once you get your bearings, you'll find it easy enough to navigate. The rooms: From what I hear, the rooms are spacious by Tokyo standards. By US standards the size is just a bit smaller than your average 3 star hotel room. I had a king bed in the garden tower and was fine... more

My wife and I went on a trip recently for 7 days and stayed at the Hotel New Otani. We both found the hotel to be lovely and enjoyed our time there immensely. As previous reviewers have noted the restaurants at the hotel are outrageously overpriced and definitely aimed at the business traveler with an expensive account. But, Tokyo has... more

I stayed here on a business trip. The room and food was great. Too pricey for my personal tastes. The Hotel is very large, and is connected to some shops. There's a convenient store too (AM/PM) if you need anything. more

We stayed here for 5 nights in April 08 in the 'Main' section and quite liked the hotel. Here's a summary: * Location was quite good - Akasaka Mitsuke metro station is under 5 minute walk and is quite well connected to main sights. Area has lots of restaurants but is smaller and quieter than the main centres and is... more

I stayed at New Otani last November. I like to stay at hotels that have club lounge. New Otani opened rooms with club lounge last year. The name of room is "Exective House Zen". People who stay at Zen have to insert card key in front of the door when they enter the club lounge and room. Security system is... more
