We had high expectations for this hotel after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. Maybe that is where we went wrong. We were surprised to find that the Hotel is hidden away in a large office building (it has no street presence). We were standing only 50 metres away from the Hotel but had to ask someone where it was. On... more

A simply heavenly experience. The rooms are extremely spacious and beautifully decorated. The service is exceptionally personal. The restaurants serve delicious food. My only reservation would be the portions in the restaurant, which were very small (even though the price wasn't!). Ultimate luxury in Tokyo, and a great location too, right next to the tube station and minutes from the... more

We had recently stayed at the Mandarin Oriental San Francisco in September and based on our wonderful stay at that property, promptly decided to stay at the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo during an upcoming trip to Tokyo. In fact, the MO San Fran's GM acted as a liaison with the MO Tokyo on our behalf - what wonderful customer service! From... more

We stayed two nights at the Mandarin for our wedding in Tokyo, and it turned out to be a perfect choice. The place is everything you would expect and more: The rooms are large, impeccable, comfy and luxurious (we had a Mandarin corner room, highly recommended, huge windows on two walls offered a spectacular view of Tokyo from the 35th... more

The hotel provided top notch service from arrival to departure during my short stay there. I used American Express Platinum to book the Mandarin Deluxe Room. Upon my arrival, the hotel has already upgraded me to the Premier Grand Room (a two level upgrade), along with complimentary breakfast and lunch. I stayed at the hotel during my two segments in... more

We decided to stay at the Mandarin Oriental after reading the near flawless reviews here on trip advisor, and with that in mind as well as the expensive room rates, we had extremely high expectations. We weren't dissappointed at all! This hotel has a reputation for outstanding service, and not only did it meet our expectations, the standard of service... more

We just returned from a 3 days stay at the Mandarin Oriental. While quite pricey, this hotel simply cannot be faulted. The service was impeccable. They were all very attentive from the moment we arrived at the hotel until we left. They even assisted me in finding certain japanese products I was asked to pick up while in japan. They... more

Enjoyed a 3 night stay. Staff are very efficient, from the moment you arrive they know your name and strive to give service. Especially, enjoyed that bell staff run to press the buttons in the lift. Everyone was very helpful, one bell staffer escorted me to an international ATM (in the Post Office in the building) after I struggled to... more
