If you want great value in a charming authentic neighborhood in Tokyo, this is a great choice. We also stayed at Ryokan Shigetsu and several places around Japan, this is one of the best values in Japan. We really loved this place. The Annex Katsutaro Ryokan is a modern 3-story building in a nice, quiet neighbourhood - most of the street traffic is on foot or bicycle.
