Our 2 night stay was "simply superb"! A great location only 6 miles away from the park entrance. Although there were cabins closer to the entrance, this place was well worth it! It was quiet and scenic. Cabins were clean, spacious and cozy. There is an attached restaurant that has some amazing food. They even provide boxed lunches for carrying... more

We really enjoyed our stay at McKinley Creekside Cabins in August of 2008. We spent 2 nights while visiting Denali National Park. with our 2 children. We stayed in a family size cabin, which had 3 queen beds, which thrilled the kids that they did not have to share a bed. The cabin was clean & adequately furnished. We loved... more

Nice location, very friendly and helpful staff. Food at grill was great. The cabin was right by creek, which we could hear through the night--very peaceful. The cabin itself was quite small. The bathroom is super small and even though the cabin was clean...there was mold in the stand up shower. Neither of us wanted to shower in it. We... more

The hotel complex is nicely tucked in away from the highway, even though it is actually only a few yards away. The food in the cafe was decent, but you are on your own if you are looking for healthier fare (as I was told by a snippy waitress when asking for mineral water "we don't have that; this is... more

When we were making reservations in February, 2008 for our August trip, everything closer to Denali was booked! This locations was relatively close, and the reviews we read were for the most part positive. The one thing I failed to notice was that the cabin we reserved was attached to a similar one by a common wall. As it turned... more

Very basic but clean cabin. Definitely enough for one night. Nice view of the mountains from the little balcony outside the cabins. Good option for the price and proximity to Denali NP. The restaurant is small but the breakfast was good. more

For the price the hotel is just above expectation. Front desk staff where friendly. Room was clean and view was good. We spent one night on our way back from Denali to Fairbanks. Breakfast menu was good. Though we didn't have time, we just grabbed a muffin and coffee. more

I can not say enough glowing words about recent 2-night stay in a standard creekside cabin. Granted, the room size is modest, but it is sufficient. It was nice to have a step-in shower, rather than some cumbersome tub/shower combo. The newly added porch was a nice plus. Spotless carpeting on the floor in sleeping area was nice touch too.... more

I booked this room because I wanted something relatively inexpensive and close to Denali. It turned out to be one of my favorite places I've stayed during weekend trips in Alaska. Our cabin wasnt too small (there were two of us) and had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The cabin had it's own controlled heat, which was great. (Some... more
