I prefer newer hotels because of my allergies. And Wuksachi Lodge was a blessing. Our deluxe room (2 queen beds) was very clean and fresh-smelling, with fresh sheets over cozy, firm mattresses. I woke the next morning refreshed, without the stuffy nose or teary eyes. My best friend and I stayed Monday night ($91) and it seemed like we had... more

we checked into the room which was handi-capped room, we were told that was all that was available. The front desk was good and offered to help us with our luggage, we declined and found our room without any trouble although it was a bit of a walk it was ok. The room seemed ok at first but then we... more

The "hotel" is a complex of seperate buldings with the main building a little distance away from the lodging buildings with ample parking. The main building has the eating facilities and a small bar. The small queen "suite" we had was a glorified hotel room and was not as clean as it should have been. In addition, the main hallways... more

I called the hotel and booked 2 standards rooms with queen beds for a stay early November 2008. Upon arrival we were told we were upgraded to rooms with king beds. Great! we thought. Yet both rooms were handicapped rooms -nothing wrong about that will you think but there was no bathtub, the bathroom door was sliding with no doorknob... more

We visited Sequioa about 13 years ago and stayed at the Lazy J Ranch, a little out of the park. This time around, we had 2 young children with us along with my mother so I decided to spend a bit extra and stay within the park. I am very pleased we did, although we ended up driving back out... more

Location, location, location has this lodging the choice over all others. The lodge is located in the midst of the big Sequoias and if your spending more than one day and not interested in traveling an hour back and forth to another facility this is the place to be. Price for the room reasonable given its location - we paid... more

Despite several good qualities of the lodge I would not return. The beds were very uncomfortable and the pillows were flat. We normally stay at Marriott and Hilton brand hotels and generally find their beds very comfortable but this was not the case here. Obviously, it is hard to have a good vacation when you don’t sleep well and that’s... more

This 3* property is right in the middle of Nowhere so don't expect too much from the onset. The Lodge is quite welcoming but the breakfast tables were not cleaned properly as the early morning Sun showed every Cup ring, spill and crumb that had ever been on the Tables. The rooms are in Three separate buildings from the main... more

My Spouse and I stayed in the most upscale room they offer. A very big room. Very comfortable, nice decor, very comfortable. A little dusty and the tub had chips in it. (yes, I reported it). Be warned, the lodge is not where you stay. That is only the lobby and food. You will drive up a tad, to the... more

The best weekend ever !! All the tourist were gone. The lodge was clean, well maintained, staff was courteous. The lodge has a few buildings which you have to park a little away from your room but they provide carts to load your luggage on and carry to your room. Very quiet, I never heard anyone the entire time we... more
