When I was first deciding on a place to stay it was between the Tamarijn and the Riu. I picked the Tamarijn and was not really impressed with the hotel. My biggest complaint was the food (and food is really important to me!). I think it was all awful, even the restaurants (this includes the Red Parrot - awful food,... more

The hotel was adequate, certainly not a 5 star, but passable. Our room was clean, but needed updating. The best thing about the room was the oceanfront location. Not more than 30 feet from our door was the beach. What a site to wake up to! The room was FAR from the restaurants, bars, and activities (building 25), and the... more

Hi, I just spend 5 nights at the Tam. My friend & I took 2 of her grandsons ages 13 & 14, I was a little leary to go because of the damage that tropical storm Omar had done. Thanks to tips and advice from trip advisor members we went & had a great time. We knew before we went... more

We had a great time on the Island of Aruba. The people are very friendly and nice. The rooms are clean except for the occasional lizard that wandered in. We enjoyed the food and shows. We also explored the island with a rented jeep. I think it had been recently in an accident because turning to the right was a... more

My husband and I stayed at the Tam for 10 days, from October 16th through 26th. It was a very nice hotel and there is almost nothing bad to say about it. The rooms were spacious and clean, and right on the beach. When we arrived there had been a storm the night before, but our beach reappeared within a... more

An hour off the plane and my wife and I were unpacked and in the beautiful water. Every room has a beach view. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The beach is awesome, clean clear water. We stayed in building 24, which was a few minute walk to the restaurants and lobby. The food in the restaurant's is good.... more

My family and I stayed in Tamarijn for our last vacation. Simply the best vacation we ever had. After a long and tired travel from Chile we arrived to the Tamarijn and we immediately forgot our tiredness. The place is really tropical and the beach is fantastic. If you want white and fine sand, turquoise water and beautiful sunsets, this... more
