Overall we had a GREAT time at the Tamarijn. It felt like we had a private beach outside our room. Yes, there were others around, but the set-up of this resort and the fact that it's only 2 stories tall, limits the amount of people who access the beach. We booked through First Choice direct flight to the Island from Gatwick. Upon arrival suitcases were taken from us at the airport and delivered to our rooms -excellent. Stayed 5th - 19th Aug - Had a lovely time at the Tam. Went with family of 7 including 3 children, ages, 7, 11, 13, they didn't want to come home. Stopped in block 1700 good for everywhere. Just stayed at the Tamarijn between 4th and 18th Aug 2008 booked thru First Choice. The location of this hotel is excellent, the beach is clean, safe and has enough room for everyone.
