I took my kids here for Thanksgiving of last year and they loved it. We had a beach front room which was farely decent. I do think they need to renovate. They were shows mostly every night, but the jeep excursion was the ultimate experience. The food was not bad, you do have to make reservations for dinner at the... more

Too many people on this site expect way too much. My wife and I commented on several occasions that the resort never felt overly crowded and the food really is not bad. Obvioulsy, the buffet is buffet food, but I have had much worse at a buffet and each day you could get fresh cooked food from the buffets by... more

We celebrated our 25th Anniversary at the Tamarijn from July 9th through July 16th. We could not be happier with our choice. The following is our trip report. It is detailed, but helpful for first time visitors. AIRPORT-Uneventful and quickly through customs. We contacted Bully for a taxi a week before arriving to have him waiting for us at the... more

We have just returned from the tam on the 9th of July after having a thoroughly relaxing two week break in Aruba. We read the reviews before travelling out and was pleasently suprised by the standard of the rooms after reading reports of dated rooms and bathrooms. We stayed in room 2316 and found both the room and the bathroom... more

Like I said...the best part was being with family! We choose this resort for the "all inclusive" package which gave us access to the Tamarijn and the Divi. We traveled with 16 adults and 9 children (ages 5-14). A kid-friendly resort was important. We stayed at the Tamarijn for 8 nights (Saturday - Sunday). We found quickly that the transportation... more

We stayed at the Tamarijin 23rd June to 7th July. Great flight out and just 20 minutes to Hotel. Stayed in 1500, upper, great views, clean with two double beds. Would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in room. Sharing with the sister hotel the Divi enabled us to enjoy the many different restaurants, the Red Parrott being the best. The... more

After reading the glowing reviews of the Tam, we felt really comfortable with our choice, but I am afraid that we did not have the same "wonderful" experience that other posters have indicated. Yes, the view is beautiful, but the beaches were not kept clean and the grassy area outside our room was littered with cigarette butts the entire week.... more
