I love the system of casas particulares in Cuba. Sharing the life with families and staying in one of the two rooms they have to offer. I arrived early evening in Habana and was very well looked after by Ana and Pepe. They have created a home away from home in Cuba. For me Ana and Pepe represent the generousity... more

It's all been said before but Ana and Pepe really do deserve all the praise and rave reviews they receive. It would be hard to imagine a more friendly and accommodating Casa, we really felt welcome. Rest assured that any help you may need negotiating your way around Havana or indeed the rest of Cuba will be no trouble to... more

To Ana, Pepe and Yuri we thank you for making our trip to Cuba one we will always remember with fond memories. We arrived two days late thanks to Hurricane Ike from Cancun in Mexico. Nothing was too much trouble for us and others who needed their talents for solving tourist woes. Having 'found' Ana on Trip Advisor weeks before... more

It all depend on one's expectations but it's hard to find anything new to say about this Casa - it's all been said in earlier reviews - which is why we picked the place. We have no hesitation in our endorsement of the general complimentary tone of other reviews. Ana's web site 'www.anahavana.com' is helpful and accurate. We were fortunate enough... more

We satyed in Varadero for 2 weeks and Havana (with ana and pepe) for 3 nights and our stay in Havana was the best part of our holiday, even though hurricane Ike hit us. Ana and pepe are very friendly and welcoming. The accomodation is very good and great value for money. If you want to see the real Havana... more

Great staying in an amiably atmosphere with Ana & Pepe and their good souls Yuri & Tony. Our room was comfortable, well stocked, meticulously clean and equipped with an AC, that was pretty useful as it was really hot and humid during our stay. Ana & Pepe's casa is located a little offside in the western part of Vedado -... more

A great trip to Cuba and a great home to stay in, nothing more to ask for. Amazing service and attentiveness, so much so, I sent my mother and sister to stay there a month after my stay. If you want to stay in Havana this is definitely the place to stay in. Affordable, clean, safe, beautiful, great service, and... more

Contacted Ana by email for the booking, and was excellent in answering all our questions. Ana´s Casa was booked out so we actually stayed in Casa Diana, with Diana and Tony. Their house was beautiful inside, and they were very hospitable. Hurricaine Ike hit Cuba when we were there, and Vedado (their barrio) was without power for a couple of... more

My fiancee and I stayed with Ana and Pepe for a total of 5 days over the course of the last 2 weeks, three days of which were during the passing of Hurricane Ike. They were incredibly helpful, caring and fun. Pepe most certainly was not as Sherlock described in the previous review. Sherlock asks for a 2 hour tour... more
