Stayed with Rick and Jill in their "little piece of paradise" for 3 nights (Nov 15-18/08) following a kayaking trip. Las Cabanas is amazing! From the homemade granola to the video library with microwave popcorn - your every need has been considered! Immaculately kept grounds with an inviting pool and hot tub surround the cabanas. Bicycles, snorkle gear, books and... more

This was our fourth trip to Loreto in three years, but our first time at Las Cabanas. We have stayed at Posado de Las Flores, Hotel Oasis, and Coco Cabanas. None of them can compare to Las Cabanas. It is close to everything and is quiet, clean and lovely decor. The owners, who are American, manage it with great efficiency... more

WOW, What amazing hospitality and an imaculately kept property. It has all the conveniences of home (cooking facilities a real plus) and more (pool, close proximity to amenities/ restaurants, and tons of local knowledge at your disposal.) The hosts made our stay fun and very comfortable. They even ushered us pleasantly through a hurricane! I highly recommend Las Cabanas de... more

Las Cabanas de Loreto is the perfect spot to hold an intimate wedding. We held our daughter's wedding and reception in the courtyard of the compound. The outdoor kitchen was the perfect place for the buffet dinner, which was delicious and catered by a local restaurant. The swimming pool was the backdrop for the ceremony. Fifty people celebrated this joyous... more

Six of us just returned on August 3 following a four night stay at Las Cabanas. I was there last year at this time as well. Everyone in the group thought the hotel exceptional. It is very private, with walls surrounding the patio/reception/pool/lounging area. It is one-half block off the Malecon, which greatly reduces the noise of cars "cruising" with... more

We spent a week at Las Cabanas de Loreto in May - just a half block from the beach. From the moment we arrived till we departed it exceeded our expectations every day. Remember this is a sleepy fishing village that has not been taken over by tourists so don't expect modern and night life - they still sweep the... more

I can't say enough about this wonderful place. It exceeded all of my expectations the first year I visited and I couldn't wait to go back this year! The intimate setting really makes it different from any other place I have stayed at in Mexico. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is well maintained. It is definitely in a... more

We had a fantastic vacation in Loreto, Mexico!! Our stay at Las Cabanas de Loreto was superb! The host/hostess, Linda, Les, Rick & Jill and we can't forget their cute dog Ziggy are incredible, generous and made us feel at home. They go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. The only thing you need to... more

My husband and I went with 8 of our best friends. It was one of the greatest trips yet! Perfect for a small group, beautiful setting, wonderful combination of modern amenities and layed back small town Mexico. We grilled the fish we caught, ate wonderful fruit from the man with the fruit cart, rode the bikes to the market, visited... more

This is a great place to stay in Loreto. The cabanas are comfortable and have coffee, hair dryer, tea, plates, silverware etc. filtered water etc.. some of the things we had to buy when we stayed in Cabo. They also have beach umbrellas, snorkle gear, beach mats, lots of videos for those cool evenings. The owners help with everything. It's... more
