My friend's family & mine spend 6 days at Hotel Emporio through an all-inclusive package from FunJet vacations. We had Room issues ranging from Safe not working, Water dripping from the faucets all night, Room keys not working a couple of times, roaches in the room, not many English speaking staff and worse cold food on the buffet. Hotel staff... more

I have just got back from a week at this hotel. Although nice grounds and lovely room I have some pointers here as do not recommend anybody staying here at all. I booked an executive vIP room and did not receive it but they told me I did. It was just a regular room. The check in TOOK 2 HOURS.... more

We booked a three-night stay at the Emporio to cap-off our Panama Canal cruise and were looking forward to relaxing by the pool and on the beach with our four-year-old daughter before we came home. The time we spent on the hotel property OUTSIDE of the hotel itself was great. The grounds are beautiful, every morning my daughter would say... more

We stayed here for our honeymoon. The hotel is located right in the center of Acapulco bay and the view was beautiful. All rooms have a view of the bay. The rooms were spacious, new, and clean, with a refrigerator and kitchen. The staff was helpful and courteous. The hotel has several pools, including an infinity pool, pool bar, and... more

Stayed here for my Spring vacation; it was a hotel that fulfilled an extensive set of criteria, specifically that it be one of the hotels that had been around since Acapulco's heyday in the 1960's. Since it had just been renovated, I had a good feeling about staying there. The food was excellent, very fresh and obviously local. The dining... more

This hotel was as nice as it shows on its web page. The pool was great and the food in the hotel restaurants was top of the line. The hotel has three pools and two of them are restricted for adult’s swimming only. This is nice and not a problem for the kids since the kiddy pool is big enough... more

We stayed here for a fortnight when the hotel was the Hyatt Continental. This was our first long-haul holiday and as we had only ever been to places such as Spain, Canaries etc. we totally overwhelmed with the beauty of Acapulco Bay. The Hyatt at that time was a large three-star hotel and our room was comfortable and spacious with... more

This hotel is grand. The spa is amazing and the restaurant food was also delicious and not over priced. This hotel has everything you need. I had a kitchenette so I was able to bring left-overs home and warm them up the next day in the microwave. The grounds are really well kept, they've got really cute parrots, turtles. The... more

This has been our fifth trip to Acapulco over the last 10 years. We stayed in this hotel a few years ago (when it was called Continental) and, as we like the location, we decided to try it again. We were 4 adults and 2 children, so we had one room with king size bed and one room with two... more
