We went to Torres Mazatlan to spend a week relaxing on the beach/by the pool, sleeping in, and eating good food. This hotel more than met our expectations. They offered things to do if you wanted to leave the property (we only left 1 day), but there were always things going on at the property as well. Gringo Bingo is... more

Torres offers good quality amenities. Rooms are big but outdated. Each room has ocean view. Pool is nice but too much chlorine. Beach is awesome. Good access to bus system. Buses and downtown area are completely safe. Restaurant is very expensive so we cooked most of the time. more

What a neat place, everyone was very friendly and helpful, we stayed in a 2 bedroom in building C, very spacious and very clean. Wonderful view. The pool and hot tub was great and not in full sun. The beach has super soft sand and we enjoyed body surfing! The bus was easy to get just outside the resort and... more

We booked a 4 night stay in a 2 bedroom unit at Torre Mazatlan through RCI. It was a holidy weekend in Mexico (Mexican Independence Day). There was no one there Friday or Saturday. Sunday and Monday it filled up a bit but was by no means crowded. The unit was spacious although the layout was a bit akward, the... more

My fiancee and I stayed at Torres from August 14-20, 2008 and loved our time at the resort. Like others have mentioned, the north side of the resort is fenced off and is patroled by a few security guards. While it would have been nice to enjoy that section of the resort, we enjoyed the other areas. We stayed in... more

Torres Mazatlan is really beautiful and the staff is friendly. Our family had a great time playing in the ocean and the large pool. There were a few activities for our child to do other than just swim so that was nice for him. The beach is extremely close to walk to but be prepared the vendors are a bit... more

We stayed a week here for our 25th anniversary. It was a joy. The guest relations folks were great. They accomodated us well. It is truly condo living, so you'll have to go grocery shopping in town. The front desk can help you get where you need to for hardly any cost (taking the bus). You get to town in... more

We have just returned from a week at the Torres and have disappointing news. There is a dispute between the two owners of the property which has resulted in the grounds to the right of the hotel being fenced off with a chicken wire metal fence with barbed wire on the top. To add to the disappointment, the owners of... more

My experience at Torres was great! The staff and accomodations were top-notch! The local bus service was very adequate and got us easily to every destination we wanted to frequent. Mega(shopping complex)helped us make fun food purchases to dish up in our thoroughly equipped timeshare. Mazague(local water park) and Ginger's Horses(rental horses to run on beach), were just barely north... more

We were four girlfriends looking to escape from the cold and rain of the Pacific Northwest and start 2008 off with some fun in the sun. I have Worldmark and if I understand correctly, Torres Mazatlan is an affiliate of Worldmark. The resort is on the opposite end of "Old Mazatlan" and about 15 minutes away by car from the... more
