Stayed here in November 2007 and wished booked for two weeks, so we came back this year and ran into some of the same couples! Obviously this resort should get marks for consistency as there are a number of satisfied repeat customers on here. If anything, the food and entertainment were even better this year. I'm game for a third... more

November 29, 2008 We have just returned from our 4th vacation at Las Palmas since 2004, and once again it was fantastic. Many Mexican families stay here and that adds to the charm. The staff is friendly and try to please. Some of the beds are hard but just ask for a foam mattress topper. However, keep in mind this... more

We stayed at the Las Palmas for the fifth time. Had a great room, food was good, staff helpful and friendly. Had no problems with air conditioning, hot water or anything else. Glad the bar closed at 11, it meant if we wanted an early night we had no noise problems, if we wanted to party more could go out... more

This was an excellent all inclusive package to fit anybody's budget and to experience an authentic mexican holiday. The accommodation was exactly what advertised. What is not advertised is the friendliness and wonderfull service by all the staff, right from the main desk to the restaurant. You are being not only taken care off but pampered. You are not in... more

We paid for a balcony with an ocean view...our first night found us in a window, leaking water, mould smelling room. We spent the next 2 days trying to get the room we paid for. When we did, no hot water, bats flying everywhere after dark. This was the worse hotel I have ever been in. The bar closed at... more

We arrived early morning 7:30 am My family and I very tired of the long trip. We were told that no rooms were available until 12:00 noon. Disappointed but understood it... more

This place was more than terrible! There was no hot water to shower with, which was fine really seeing as the toilet is IN the shower only seperated with a cheap plastic curtain, there were 2 small towels in total, and almost no light whatsoever. No hairdryer, no clock, no soap dish. The bed frames are concrete blocks. Concrete! I... more

Where to begin! First, we didn't expect much and we are used to mexican resorts and we knew it was a resort for Mexicans. We were good customers and tipped generously. The following is not the result of poor communications. THE GOOD: 1. Excellent city area, close to the Old town, lots of buses and taxis. 2. Close to the... more
