I am a Royal Holiday member and booked my stay because of a promo RH was running. It was an incredible deal in which I could not pass up! The location was pretty decent with the Soriana Market right across the street. Also across the street is the Tamale Cafe who's latte rivaled that of France and Italy! The hotel... more

We stayed at Los Tules for the first week of our annual two weeks in Puerto Vallarta, from 9/27 - 10/4 this year. So many people have reviewed Los Tules (and added all kinds of info on the area and location....which is excellent) so I'll just discuss our experience and the resort itself during that specific week. The resort is... more

My parents booked a 3-bedroom unit at Los Tules through Interval International (timeshare exchange). Here are the pros and cons as I saw them: Pros: - Lovely grounds. Lots of tropical plants and palm trees. This is a sprawling, low-rise resort with lots of wonderful views of the ocean and central Puerto Vallarta. - Nice pools. I think there were... more

I have a timeshare at Los Tules thru Royal Holiday. I think it is a good location being across the street from a huge supermarket center which also had a lot of food choices…there were several choices - anything from fresh fruit w/ chili and lime to a Mexican rotisserie chicken stand to Pizza Hut and Burger King). The resort... more

We are Royal Holiday members. We stayed at the Park Royal location. This resort is large but the grounds are very well maintained. Seven pools and two restaurants. We were in a one bedroom suite with full kitchen. All kitchen appliances including both bathrooms were very ancient and poor condition. The toilets didn't flush well and the sink water line... more

The resort is beautifully maintained and a great place for a peaceful vacation .......but only if you can dodge the relentless pestering from the TIMESHARE staff who are disguised BEHIND THE CONCEIRGE DESK. BEWARE! ... Need assistance? Don't look for it at the "desk".....the bell staff would be a better place for hassle-free help. Also some web sites state "this... more

We bought a week which was someone else's time share from a charity auction, so went not really knowing what to expect. The resort is a little bit older than some of the others in the hotel zone, but it is really nicely maintained. The grounds are beautiful, the staff really helpful and friendly. More importantly, the buildings are all... more

Los Tules is a great place to stay, you just have to ignore the timeshare people in the lobby. Tell them you are staying with friends that are owners, and you are not interested in buying... We've been coming here for 6 years and have gotten the hang of "dumping" the time share people, no matter where they hit you,... more

Everything we wanted we got the resort although a little old was better than we could imagine for the price. Two blocks down the main street we had a great time at Blakes Sports Bar, where Sue and Mike treated us as family. Try Hectors Sunset for a fantastic meal. more

A large group of our friends went down to Vallarta to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We managed to book several large timeshare at Los Tules. As promised, the staff picked us up at the airport and drove us to the hotel. We were impressed! Upon our arrival we were ambushed by what I can only describe, as disguised hotel employees.... more
