Four of us went to the resort for a week of sun and R&R with some mixed feelings after reading the many reviews, both positive & negative. Must say - am very surprised by the negativity! Cannot imagine what people were looking for!! And the gall of some to comment on Mexicans staying there! How "snobby" is that!! We had... more

So myself, 2 girlfriends and my mom stayed at the Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa from Dec 14-21, 2008. I spent a lot of time reading reviews in hopes of picking a suitable place so thought I'd return the favour! Going into the vacation, I didn't really know what to expect since the reviews were quite mixed. I know now... more

The Palladium is a spectacular AI. It is rated as a 4 star, but should likely be a 4.5. The service was great, the food and entertainment were outstanding and it has a beautiful beach. The only real drawbacks that I can think of were the snack bar by the pool was never stocked and seemed to consist of leftovers,... more

I like the place but I would not recommend to family with small kids. The food was ok in the buffets (not a lot of variety, not to tasty) The best restaurant is Mexican (must sit outside) The night entertainment is enjoyable more

First off, the negatives: - If you plan on spending a lot of time in Nuevo or Puerto Vallarta, this is not the resort for you. It's very far, a $22 - $45 cab ride depending on where you go, and the bus doesn't run at a time that works for morning or late night excursion departure times. We went... more

We stayed at the Palladium from December 6th to December 13th 2008. We booked our trip with Signature Vacations, departing from Calgary. The resort setting is amazing. It's situated on a cliff over looking a rugged coastline. Accommodations for the Palladium are in three, 3 storey buildings. Our room was on the top floor of building # 2. We had... more

I absolutely adored this resort. My boyfriend and I went for a week (Dec 1st - Dec 8th) and had an amazing time. Flight there and back from Toronto Ontario is about 4-4.5 hrs and both planes were on time. Once off the plane in Puerto Vallarta, we actually talked to a guy who at first we thought was gonna... more

We visited this resort Nov 25 - Dec 2/08. Overall it was a good time, but we have travelled throughout Mexico, and stayed in other All inclusives that were better. This was rated 4 - 4/12* (depending on where you read) and it is more like a 3 - 3/12* - we got a sell off and paid $1100 incl... more

We were at the Palladium Vallarta November 25 to December 2, 2008. The wife and I wanted a vacation without kids, so we left them (teenagers) at home and booked the adults only Royal Suites at the Palladium. We're not into the bar hopping and nightclubs, so being outside of the city at a quieter resort was OK with us.... more

I should state that I am an experienced hotel Consultant and Developer with over 25 years in the hospitality industry, WHY WE WENT: Our nephew invited a dozen adult relatives from W. Canada to buy our own tickets for $1300 each (including air fare) and join them for a week at the Palladium 45 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta at... more
