We stayed at this hotel for three nights during the CNE through an internet promo offering three nights for the price of two. It worked out to $110 per night, which I felt was very reasonable for peak season. Although nicely decorated and upgraded, it should be noted that this is a very old property. So if you like fresh... more

We read all the mixed reviews on this hotel before booking, but they were very mixed, so we assumed it must have been that some folks went in expecting too much. I have to say I was sorely mistaken. The complaints about the smell were not overdone. The front lobby had a pleasant fruity type fragrance but, the hallways had... more

I would recommend the 4 Points to anyone looking to stay in Toronto. Their service was excellent, the room was clean and comfortable and the view of the lake was nice to wake up to each morning. more

Stayed at the hotel for four nights hoping to enjoy a lakeshore hotel close to Toronto down town. The hotel is in fact located between the busy Lakeshore Boulvard and the Gardner Expressway. The Lakeshore is streching the imagination as the Lakeshore boulvard is a six lane dual carriageway! Thev rooms are to a good standard as one would expect... more

I had a generally okay stay at this hotel although I likely will not go back again. As other people have said, the hotel is literally several feet away from the elevated freeway and cars zip by the 3rd floor window. The noise level varies from barely noticeable to extremely loud depending on your exact location and floor, so cross... more

Disappointing! It is right on the lake...but it is also right next to Gardiner Expressway. Rooms were dirty and run down. Food at breakfast was wretched. On the last night of my stay, I was awoken at 3 AM by a group of dozens of high school age kids talking loudly in the lobby. After repeated calls to the front... more

We always book rooms with balconies (for fresh air) but this hotel is pretty clean (non smelly). It's far from the lake (4 lanes of traffic) but I like the lake view. Also this hotel is far from downtown... a $17 cab ride away. If you are hungry you can go across near the lake to the BBQ stand for... more

The hotel decor and comfort was fine, but those advantages were greatly outweighed by the freeway noise. The freeway is -honest to God- fifteen feet from the windows. Even with earplugs, I couldn't sleep through the traffic noise. more

Check-in was smooth and good and the room was modern. The position is excellent overlooking the lake. The hotel is a little out of the main centre though but the plus of free parking makes up for it. I was there over the unusual snowstorm and so could not actually see the lake for several days - I imagine it... more

I absolutely would not recommend this hotel. I arrived late on my first night, and first of all could not find one single parking space. I parked my car at the front door, went in, checked in and asked where I was to park. Someone came out and directed my to a little spot and had to squeeze in a... more
