We were meeting a group of friends at the hotel for the weekend and booked a long-stay apartment for 4 nights as we were traveling with our infant daughter and needed a room with a separate area for her to sleep and a kitchen. Our 1 bedroom apartment was perfect. Great location, wonderful pool, nice hotel staff (the valet remembered... more

My two sons and I had originally booked one of their apartment rooms. The experience was similar to living in government subsidized housing on the south side of Chicago, or a run-down frat house. The pictures that are posted on their website are not representative of the current situation. We moved to the hotel part of the property after the... more

Hi, I go to Toronto often for work and use priceline to book my hotels. For the first time i was booked a more like 3 star hotel then 4 star like i paid for. This hotel is a good 3 star but definitely not a 4 star. Know what you pay for and beware of this kind of hotel... more

The room was booked via a secondary source. I called ahead to request a King bed in a non-smoking room and they were happy to accommodate the request. The room was very nice and very clean. The hotel staff was very helpful and pleasant. I was very satisfied with my stay. more

Made a last minute booking here through Hotels.ca (which we have subsequently learned is the same as Expedia) because the Sutton Place in Vancouver is so wonderful. Had to book two rooms because we are four, specifically requested two beds in each room but were 'upgraded' to two rooms w king beds because they had no double rooms, Rooms were... more

First, I got it on priceline for $69 so I can't complain too much. But for a 4* star, it is average at best. My big complain: I called a friend in Toronto (it's cheaper than roaming on my US based called) and there is NO pen and paper in the room. Hell, Motel 6 gives you that! Also, the... more

I attended a conference here and was very disappointed with my hotel room and the hotel services. My room was quite outdated, especially the bathroom and just felt dingy. As a business traveller, you expect certain things out of a hotel and the Sutton did not live up to any of these expectations. Internet was $16.50 for 24 hours, the... more

I booked this hotel through Priceline, received a good rate through the site. This hotel was just okay, for a hotel with supposedly such prestige, I feel it didn't live up to it's name or star rating, the room was kind of boring, older style furniture, it needed more lighting. The heating in the room was either way too hot... more

My girlfriend and I have just returned home after a 2-night, midweek stay at the Sutton Place Toronto. We are frequent travelers who usually stay in 4-star hotels and we thought the place was acceptable-to-very good. I got our room on Priceline by bidding $90 per night. With taxes and fees the price climbed to $110.61, which we thought was... more
