Stayed here, largely because the room was $109. Booked for five nights. Reception was terrible - my key wouldnt open the lock after four attempts up and down in the lift, before the girle eventually moved me to a room with working lock - i think she thought it was me. This is a very poor hotel. It is not clean and to say that the rooms are tired would be an understatement. Forget the free breakfast. The coffee was undrinkable. Additionally, if you are visiting the U of Toronto, be ready for a lengthy walk. Look for somewhere else. more

4 of us stayed here for 3 nights in July 2007. We stayed in a family room which had a very small bathroom. Very quiet part of town in Yorkville. Disappointing hotel - looks like it hasn't been renovated in 20 years. Cleanliness was not good. Definitely wouldn't stay there again. However location was good and it was reasonably priced - so if you are prepared to comprise then it will be fine. more
