My partner Dan and myself condsider "Dundonlad House" our second home. David, Warren and Rio always greet us with a warm welcome and offer to carry our bags up to our room. The transformation Dundonald House has made over the past few years is incrediable. The three bath room renovations are out of this world. The one downstairs includes a... more

I first visited Toronto in 2002 and without knowing anything else about it I picked Dundonald House because of it's proximity to the Gay Village. I couldn't have made a better choice. David and Warren made me feel welcome and right at home. The room was beautiful and the breakfasts delicious. They were extremely helpful in suggesting things to do... more

After reading all the positive reviews I decided to stay at Dundonald. I was very disappointed as far as my stay was concerned. Firstly the breakfasts are less said the better. Inadequate to say the least. Not a full breakfast as advertised. No cereals, fresh fruit or breads offered. Just a measly bit of preplated stuff. No tea/coffee facilties not... more

I found Dundonald House on the internet and decided to give it a shot for a weekend in Toronto in between business trips. I couldn't have been more delighted with my experience. Dave and Warren are the perfect hosts; the property is beautiful, the food is delicious, and they were more than happy to tailor their recommendations to my interests.... more

Hosts Warren and Dave make you feel right at home before you even get inside the door. They are not only helpful with travel arrangements, directions, and lodging, their service goes beyond that. Dave cooks a rockin' breakfast every morning. And they are located within a short walking distance to everything LGBT or otherwise in Toronto...shops, restaurants, nightclubs, etc. This... more

I was in Toronto on business and decided to stay at Dundonald House rather than one of the "chain" hotels in the area .. it was the best decision I could ever have made. I stayed in the Mary room which gave me ample room to set up a temporary office and get plenty of work done. The room was... more

I was visiting Toronto for a conference, and chose Dondonald House instead of one of the nearby downtown hotels. It was a great decision -- the hosts, Warren and Dave, are most welcoming, and their home is stylish and beautifully appointed, and is clearly well cared for. The breakfasts were delicious and substantial. I stayed in the Mary, which gave... more

We were four women travelling together and after reading the glowing reviews here, decided to book into Dundonald House. It was all we could have hoped for and more. Lovely rooms, great breakfasts, which varied daily, plus attentive and welcoming hosts. Dave and Warren were able to recommend places to eat and to drink. It was close to all amenities,... more

Visiting Toronto for the first time, I could not have chosen a better place to stay. Not only affordable, but the place is a hop, skip, and walk to the main street in Gay Toronto, or to other neighborhoods, shopping districts, and a brisk walk to downtown, where you can shop and take in the sights. Also, many great restaurants... more
