Here's the problem. Delta build a grand hotel a long time ago in a great location in a market that hasn't forced them to keep it in great shape or provide great service. So, while probably the best option in town, it's in major need of a refurb. Even more frustrating is that they have cut back so much on... more

We stayed two nights at the Delta Prince Edward the first weekend of August. We paid a discounted rate of $254 per night. Overall, I would say it is fine, but nothing special. You are paying for the location, in historic downtown Charlottown, the name Delta, and the convenience of online booking rather than for anything special at the hotel.... more

I stayed here in March 2008 and previously a couple of years ago. This is one of the truly terrible hotels in Atlantic Canada, built like a funeral home, terrible rooms and common areas, a pervasive damp stink, and the worst catering possible in the otherwise delicious PEI. I cant imagine a more depressing place to stay. Go anywhere else... more

June 21 to June 27 08, Our stay at the Delta Prince Edward was exceptional ~ this hotel chain thinks of all the needs you might have and meets them before you ask. The pool & spa were the cleanest, had a massage with Janice twice, exceptional! Room was very large, included refrig, coffee maker, free internet, very comfortable and... more

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times over the last 3 months; April 2008 was the last time. I find this an excellent hotel for business travel. it's right on the Charlottetown waterfron and right downtown. So it's close to many restaurants and the waterfront boardwalk. The staff have been excellent with me. I left an object in my... more

Had some problems with this hotel. The staff were pleasent but this hotel is past it's prime. I got stuck between the 3 and 4 floors of the elevator. Was not able to use the pool due to a swimming class using it when I wanted to. The food was overpriced and not that great. I would say that this... more

We spent Labor Day weekend at the Delta. It is a convention style business-oriented hotel with large, if not memorable rooms. The front desk was efficient and friendly and the loaction is very good with restaurants and theaters in walking distance. The room, on a rehabbed floor, was comfortable. One nice touch was the stapler and business supplies in the... more

Great location tp the downtown area of Charlottetown. Facility was clean. Beds were comfortable. Front desk service very helpful in guiding where to eat. Highly recommend eating at the restaurant "Flex Muscles" especially if your favorite seafood is raw oysters and you can choose from 24 different ways mussles are cook(in different sauces). The 2 disappointing points were that the... more
