Had a wonderful and too short a stay at Hotel Jazz this past Saturday. Lovely, charming room, great decor, awesome breakfast spread and convenient location. The price was pretty reasonable too. Hope it stays that way! I'll be back for sure. My only beef is that the bathrooms are pretty small. As a guy over 6', I found it difficult... more

My wife and I booked a romantic Christmas holiday at the Hotel Jazz (being Jewish, Christmas is the perfect time for travel!) and stayed 3 days. The hotel was charming, elegant, well-heated (very important in Montreal in December), and the breakfast was both copious and scrumptious (hard to find both at once!) The location couldn't have been better (15 min... more

This review is about a problem with booking- we never did get to stay at the hotel-Call and confirm your booking with this hotel!!! After reading the wonderful reviews on Trip Advisor, we booked a room with Hotel Jazz through Booking.com on Saturday December 27th at 5 PM. We guaranteed it with our credit card and received written confirmation. The... more

Wow it was perfect. Arrived by bus and checked in, very friendly staff. Very clean, very pretty, very inexpensive room. Definitely the best place to stay in Montreal. The free breakfast was amazing, the hostess was prefect. Would recommend to anyone for anything. For two people + breakfast it came to $100. Right y St. Catherine for shopping and super... more

All of the previous reviews were 100% accurate when it came to describing this fantastic Bed and Breakfast!!! My original email enquiring about availability was answered promptly which is always a good sign. The location was fantastic, only a five minute walk from the old town and a similar walk to the main shopping streets of central Montreal. The room... more

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Oct 31-Nov4. The host Melanie greeted us at the door and showed us where to park our car. It is tight in the back but no problem at all. We stayed on the first floor in Room #2, cutely decorated with random antiques - the bathroom, yes, was small, but we didn't... more

We stayed at the Hotel Jazz during our first quick two day trip to Montreal. This is a small, homey, comfortable hotel with a charming proprietress Melanie. It is not a high end boutique hotel but as noted in other reviews the hotel itself and the rooms are pleasantly decorated with a very comfortable bed. We place high value on... more

We arrived at Hotel Jazz after a 22 hour train journey from Halifax. This was our 6th stop in our 'Tour of Canada' and the welcome we got from Melanie & Jean-Sebastian was great. We arrived at 8.45 am - right in the middle of their breakfast preparations for the other guests. We had written to them previously to ask... more

All the reviews are true. A great place for location, unique, comfortable, quiet, breakfast (crepes!) atmosphere and memories. We had room 6 on the 2nd floor overlooking the parking lot. They pack cars into a small lot but at least you're off the street and paying only $10/night for safe keeping. A painting on a parking lot wall adds more... more

My wife and I spent a week in October in Montreal and stayed at this lovely hotel. We found the hosts (also owners) to be warm, friendly, hospitable and helpful. Our room was very nice and was kept very clean. We looked forward to being at breakfast between 8 -10 am. We did not want to miss breakfast! It was... more
