Do yourself a big favor by calling the hotel if you are arriving late. If you don’t, they will give it away then blaming on the online booking system. It happens to us even with credit card deposit guaranteed. It ruined our trip to Montreal totally. more

We have just returned from spending four nights at the Auberge du Vieux-Port and had a FANTASTIC time!!! We checked in on September 22 until September 26, 2008. I stayed in a loft above a restaurant and could not have been more pleased. The room was fabulous, the people VERY nice, the view fantastic. The noise level was very low on the street and the restaurant, but it was October. The loft was in the middle of the "place to be". Others I went with stayed in hotels... more
