This is a small, clean and friendly place to stay in the eastern part of Montreal. Our 'suite' was amply sized for a family of four - each of our teenage sons had a double bed to themselves, while my wife and I shared the (smallest) bed, in the smallest room. Breakfast was a DIY affair, but this is not... more

First I must say that the staff in the hostel/hotel was very friendly. We were late coming from Toronto and got lost because of construction and detours, but the staff waited for us well past the closing time (I think we got there 12:30 am). All throughout our stay we experienced friendly and helpful hosts. The rooms were clean and... more

I would say the place gives you good value for what you pay -clean rooms, clean sheets, clean toilets , free breakfast which was plentiful and open till late morning . The staff was very helpful and friendly. They even provided a rollaway bed for my son when a suite wasnt available .Downtown as well as Biodome was only minutes away... more

When we initally arrived at the hotel, we realized it wasn't in the most desirable neighborhood but the hotel itself seemed clean and interesting. HOWEVER, The first night we were there we had to walk about 30 minutes to get to the metro - not so easy in a rougher neighborhood with 5 children/6 adults. Then, the fun began. The... more

I´m coming back to this excellent hotel. It´s the staff that makes it a stay you remeber. Great service, clean rooms and the staff know everything you need to know about Montreal. It´s only about 10-15 min. to downtown with bus/subway. The location and area is not the best, but the hotel is nice. I´m coming back again another year....... more

We took this room mainly because we booked late and it was the only place available. We were not entirely happy with it. The “comfort” room was dingy. There were blown light bulbs and a hole in the ceiling. The hot tub did sweeten the deal a bit though, but that was a bit dirty too. The neighborhood was in... more

It was like staying home away from home. We made friends when we found this place. We found ourselves in Montreal late at night with no accommodations because of over booking through another place and this wonderful place took us in and made us feel like home. more

We stayed at this hotel in July 2007. There were 5 of us, a family of 4 and the kids grandmother, so we had a suite with two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. On the positive side, everything that has been written about the friendliness of the hosts is true - they were extremely friendly and helpful. The basement breakfast... more

This was a great stay. It's a nice hotel at a reasonable price. But the service is amazing. When I first arrived in Montreal, they talked to me on the phone and helped me find the hotel. They offered food, extra towels, shuttle service. They are happy to give. They really treat you like family. more

I booked this hotel at the Tourist Info Centre in Montreal town centre. I was really glad that I did. The owners Shahrzad and Bernard were very welcoming from the get go and went out of their way to help make my stay there as pleasant and easy as possible by helping me to book excursions, giving lots of useful... more
