Awful - The floor above us cracked constantly all day and all night! Anybody in the hall or outside would echo through the room. When cars drove by, the windows rattled. We couldn't sleep for three days. The shower was at best a trickle. The wireless internet at $10 per day stoped working at 9:00pm. This room was $220 a... more

We stayed here for 3 nights in October before driving on to Yosemite. Our first impression was that the reception and our room were a little tired looking, however, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the studio was very clean, comfortable and well-equipped (we discovered on arrival that it was privately owned, so presumably the management have no say... more

We stayed for three nights for a friend's wedding. We booked a one bedroom suite 8 months in advance of our stay. Upon checking in we found our room was directly over Highway 50. The suite was small, the decor was dated, and there was a huge amount of street noise. Forget about sitting on the balcony or even opening... more

I would like to sincerely apologize to this Trip Advisor member for their poor experience. This is not the service levels and quality for which we are known at Lakeland Village, as seen by many of the other Trip Advisor reviews. Our standard service levels are to be very hospitable and assist guests whenever possible, and assist in moving our...

We loved our stay here at Lakeland Village~ Just got back yesterday 09/22/08. They have a wonderful pool and hot tub, well 2, but we stayed closest to the one by the office and so every morning we went down to the hot tub to have our coffee, and every night we made sure to go back to the hottub... more

We booked our reservation over the phone directly with the hotel. We were told it was on the lake, upon checking in we were told that we had a pool view. What we had was a street view and if you leaned out the patio doors and strained you saw the pool. The 1 bedroom suite had such a foul... more

Lakeland Village is a development of townhouses and a big building of condos, right on the lake in the town of South Lake Tahoe. We previously stayed in a 1-bedroom condo in the building, this time in a 1-bedroom + loft townhouse. The townhouses are more $$$ but definitely worth it - far more spacious, nice feeling to walk out... more

We rented a 5 bedroom 5 bath townhome for Mother's Day weekend. We had grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins all in the same unit with plenty of room! The unit was clean, within sight of the lake, and we loved the daily maid service! We complained the first night about noisy neighbors and the management was there within minutes and... more

We recently stayed at Lakeland Village Resort in South Lake Tahoe. We booked a 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath unit with loft. All of these units are individually owned and we loved our unit (#508). You can tell that the owners took the time to decorate their unit, making us feel comfortable and giving us the feeling we were in... more
