We really like the Holiday Inn at Hinton. The people are really friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean and done up nice. It is an older property that has been well renovated. It has a nice pool, waterslide and fitness room. This is a good stop over before heading out to Jasper. more

Please see mi travel gypsy's review at Lakeview Inn - where we had reserved and planned to stay but checked out due to the problems mentioned there. Checked in here - and are so glad we did. What a MUCH better hotel! I question whether people on this site have been truthful about this hotel and the Lakeview (which is... more

The Holiday Inn is possibly the best of the line of hotels & motels that line the Yellowhead Trans-Canada 16 as it passes through Hinton, the last town that the west-bound traveller passes through before arriving at Jasper and its rip-off hotel prices. Judged as a place for an overnight stay, the Holiday Inn is fine. It offers comfortable, reasonably-priced... more

Made a pit stop there during a road trip. We enjoyed our stay there. The staff was very friendly, pool was clean. There were no towels left in the pool area, but were quickly replenished after the request was made. We got there late, around 8:30 p.m. Pool was kept open for a little while longer. We forgot a couple... more

The hotel could use a good cleaning especially in the bathroom. The set up of the bathroom was really stupid. The sink was separate and apart from the toilet and the tub/shower..not convenient at all! The window shade was falling off. The decor is very nice and the furnishings were in good shape. The restaurant was great with good food... more

I reserved on the phone, chose this inn for the airmiles. They did not offer me "kids eat free coupons and when I went to the front desk to talk about this they would't do anything.the food in the restaurant was terrible.the halls smelled like smoke.the beds were lumpy.Really I'm not fussy, but this was terrible.not worth the airmiles. more

I recently stayed here. The rooms were well appointed for the business man. The hotel was recently renovated with a large expansion. My only complaint was that it is typical wood construction and you can hear the footsteps of the people on the floor above you and the shaking of the walls when someone slams their door. No complementary breakfast,... more

I stayed here to avoid the higher hotel prices in Jasper. In that, I succeeded. But in the high season, this hotel has one major drawback -- the lack of parking. The parking lot is too small to accommodate all the guests' cars when the hotel is full. And when I was there, a few tractor-trailers parked on the street... more

I cannot say that I have stated at a Holiday Inn before, and I must say that I expected far worse. On an entourage through the Rocky Mountains, Hinton seemed to be a logical place to stop for one night(though I wish that it had been the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge)! Thus, my travel agent recommended the Holiday Inn Hinton.... more
