The hotel could use a good cleaning especially in the bathroom. The set up of the bathroom was really stupid. The sink was separate and apart from the toilet and the tub/shower..not convenient at all! The window shade was falling off. The decor is very nice and the furnishings were in good shape. I reserved on the phone,chose this inn for the airmiles.They did not offer me "kids eat free coupons and when I went to the front desk to talk about this they would't do anything.the food in the restaurant was terrible.the halls smelled like smoke.the beds were lumpy.Really I'm not fussy,but this was terrible.not worth the airmiles. more

I stayed here to avoid the higher hotel prices in Jasper. In that, I succeeded. But in the high season, this hotel has one major drawback -- the lack of parking. The parking lot is too small to accommodate all the guests' cars when the hotel is full. And when I was there, a few tractor-trailers parked on the street... more

I cannot say that I have stated at a Holiday Inn before, and I must say that I expected far worse. On an entourage through the Rocky Mountains, Hinton seemed to be a logical place to stop for one night(though I wish that it had been the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge)!
