Oh what a romantic and wonderful setting! And so peaceful and comfortable. I wish we had been able to stay longer here. The lodge was clean, comfortable and warm - and we had an open fire to play with! We had fortunately taken a bottle of wine with us, and sat in the firelight reading and enjoying a drink in... more

We have just returned from Emerald Lake Lodge in Field B.C. It was simply amazing. The views, service, FOOD!, lodging, and the attention to detail blew away every one of my expectations. We were there for two nights and we were treated like royalty. If you want a quite getaway with no tv's, internet connections, cell phone coverage this is... more

Firstly, I would like to say I am really surprised at some of the reviews I have read recently, as my experience of Emerald Lake Lodge couldn't be further away from theirs. My husband and I were married at Cilantro on the Lake in May this year - we spent a week at the Lodge with our close friends and... more

Beautiful location, nice rooms each with an open fireplace, extremely helpful staff. The Lodge menu was a little limited, but we were there slightly off-season and only actually used one of the restaurants. A wonderful stay on the whole, I would definitely go back! more

Emerald Lake Lodge is situated in a wonderful setting with great rooms, friendly staff, nice breakfasts and great dinners with access to wilderness trails. It is very peaceful, in general. We stayed for 3 nights over the Canadian Thanksgiving and really enjoyed it. The room was large with a wood-burning fireplace and large comfortable bed. The fire may have caused... more

My husband and I recently stayed two nights at the Emerald Lake Lodge, meant to be our "splurge" out of four locations we stayed in the Canadian Rockies. We had already been in two very pleasant locations in Lake Louise and Jasper so we had places to compare in the area. For the $100. more per night at Emerald Lake... more

first the negative: their sales conference coordinator Melissa Bell, was extremely rude. Not only did she not have the patience when speaking to me on the phone, after a minute or two, she would ask me to call her back in 5-10 minutes and when i did i would only receive her voicemail, to which she would not respond back.... more

I have stayed at Emerald Lake Lodge probably a dozen times over the past decade for various special occasions. While I never get tired of the surroundings, the Lodge itself is in dire need of improvement. Prices have continued to escalate year after year but there have been exactly zero updates made to any of the rooms or facilities for... more

We stayed there 3 nights in August. Emerald Lake is absoultely beautiful and fairly quiet. We took a couple of very enjoyable walks in the area too. The hotel is, however, rather basic. We were told that our room was the 2nd most expensive "suite". Although we agree that the room had some rustic charm, the bathroom could do with... more

Make no mistake, Emerald lake is a beautiful setting - but the accomodation has to be considered pretty functional, three star at best, and relies on the scenary to please guests. We had a so called "first class" grade suite but the bathroom was tiny with a tub highly inappropriate for anyone over 6 foor tall, the bedroom was basic;... more
