We have had lovely time at The Bristol Hotel,staff very friendly all over the place , Restaurant service like in 5 star hotel!,Housekeeping department keep this place in Very High standart! Definitely go there again!!! more

Other reviewers have said that the Bristol is "living in the past", which I think might be a bit harsh, but it certainly is old fashioned, and as far as I can tell, it is very deliberately that way to appeal to the OAP coach tour market. I think Nashee has hit the nail on the head. For the town it's a nice hotel - but you have to think that Newquay is no longer the haunt of King George V in his convalescence days... The hotel is located in a great position on the cliffs at the north east side of Newquay so it's quiet but easily accessible for the town centre. I stayed here for one night on my way further down to Penzance. There are nice sea views and as I had paid for a superior room I rather expected to get one, but I didn't. It didn't bother me as I was only there for a short time but I still can't think what was supposed to be superior... more

The hotel is situated within a row of other hotels facing the water. The staff was very efficient in checking us in and moving our luggage to our room. There is a lift in the hotel however, some parts of the hotel (some rooms and indoor pool area) are not accessible by lift. Our room had the most spectucular view... more
