We stayed at the Davenport Hotel for 4 nights on Christmas '08. The prices are normally very high, but on Christmas you can find lot of offers..The hotel is beautiful inside and outside! The room was very big, with a big double bed and many facilities. The hotel is clean and the location (Marrion Square) it's perfect for visit Dublin.... more

Overall fair. Great location and less expensive the most hotels in the area. Not the cleanest, but not terrible either. The staff weren't the most helpful, but not rude either. Not bad, but not great either. A solid "fair". more

We arrived in Dublin at 9:30am and were able to check in early, which we really appreciated! The room was much smaller than we expected, although nicely decorated with ample amenities. The breakfast buffet was decent. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located close to Trinity College and Merrian Park. There is a 'hop on-hop off' bus stop across... more

We have just returned from a week long break to Dublin with various family members. We had a great time, and the hotel was lovely, however the rumours that Dublin is expensive are not exaggerated, so be prepared with large wads of Euros!! The rooms were spacious enough and clean. We stayed on the fourth floor, and had a king... more

Tiny room, but we weren't in there much except to sleep. If you want to use the internet to print anything, you need to use the business center in the sister hotel across the street. Otherwise, you can pay 5 euro to use the internet via your tv in the room. Not much else to comment on...it was a decent... more

The hotel has quite a few things going for it - perfect location adjacent to the air coach stop from the airport, beautiful interiors, within 2min walk to quite a few of Dublins attractions and far less noisy than anything along Temple Bar. If you want to walk to the muesums, Grafton St, Merrion Sq, Trinity College and Dublin Castle... more

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. We loved it's central location, excellent service and hospitality last time so booked again. We were not disappointed. The staff are polite and nothing is too much trouble for them. The bedroom was clean and we slept in one of the most comfortable hotel beds ever! Breakfast was hot,... more

Three of us stayed in two rooms in September. The communication before arrival was efficient and very friendly. Reception welcome on arrival friendly. The staff were helpful throughout. The twin room was large with a double and a single bed. Well appointed. The single large. TV, hairdryer, toiletries - everything as expected. Excellent location. more

Stayed for a few nights on business. Good location, easy access to sights, restaurants etc. Relatively quiet, although road outside is busy. Room comfortable but rather poorly lit. Average mass produced breakfast. OK but unremarkable. more

We stayed here one night on our way to a golf tour in September. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk to Grafton Street and Trinity College along with lots of pubs and restaurants and so is reasonably well located. The rooms are dark and small and at best, in my view, the hotel provides a bed for a night.... more
