Stayed in the Mc Eniff Skylon for new years eve 2008, booked 12 rooms so that the family could be all together, the standard of the rooms are very poor moved room twice as the first room was still dirty, the second room stinked of stale smoke so upgraded to executive suites which was a lovely room. Our night was... more

I stayed in the Skylon hotel on the night of new years eve, there was very average entertainment provided by the hotel and bar staff were nice, approximately after midnight the owner of the hotel entered the bar, shouting at paying guests to vacate the bar area as it was closing. she was dressed totally unprofessional in her night ware,... more

My mother and I were in Dublin for one night at a show in The Helix Stadium and through Tripadvisor Forum were recommended this hotel. It was great as it was only 10 mins away as explained. The front lobby and reception desk was lovely, very fancy decor. The young girl on reception was very polite and very helpful we... more

We stayed at this north dublin hotel because of its location. It turned out very adjacent to our business meeting and also on a bus route to the ceity centre. The hotel itself needs modernisation. Our room was basic and could do with modernisation. Having said this, we received a nice welcome greeting on arrival and given the city map... more

Arrived into Dublin Airport at 4am from Sharm El Shiek Egypt. Very tired, got a taxi to Dublin Skylon as I didn't want to drive West. Night Porter was welcoming and got me a tea and toast before helping me to a delux bedroom. Nice warm comfortable bed, good night's sleep, excellent hot shower and two fresh poached eggs, brown... more

The staff at reception were slagging all the customers and too busy texting on there mobiles to help anyone. Not friendly, short and too bothered. That was at check-in and check-out. The room had dust on the walls almost a centimeter thick. The bathroom was infested with mold and mildew as well as littered with hair (long and short). Might... more

We only stayed in this hotel for one night but it was very pleasant. It is on the main bus route from the airport to the City Cente, so is easily accessible and that was the main reason we chose this hotel. Also the price was very reasonable too. We had a double room which also had a single bed... more

I stayed in this hotel along with my boyfriend on saturday 16th Aug as we were in Dublin for a match on the sunday. There was a football match on also on this day so it was busy enough. As far as the location goes it was perfect, 5minute walk from Croke Park and really easy to find if your... more

Was in dublin for business and couldnt find another hotel so stayed here in the Skylon. On check-in, I waited for quite some time, where staff seemed to just not see me standing right in front of them. Finally got up to my room to find a broken television, stains all over the floors and a really hot room and... more
