I had booked a special online rate for myself and two freinds, the conditions of this rate was that payment was taken at the time of booking, and that the booking was non refundable. Upon arrival at the hotel we were informed that payment wasn't actually taken, despite me having the printed confirmation with me. The questions we put to... more

Be extremely aware booking online for this hotel. My friend booked for a group of us back in March and got a special discounted internet rate. After booking, it was discovered that payment for this type of deal was taken at the time. We arrived Saturday to book in only to be told that the card had been declined at... more

Getting to the hotel from the airport takes about 2 hours (roughly 1 hour on a 747 or 748 bus) and another hour on the Luas. On top of that you have the roadworks which makes getting from the Luas stop to your hotel difficult. We were lucky enough to have an Ibis employee on the tram with us who... more

Stay clear of this hotel! Not only is it difficult to get to these days due to road construction, but the hotel looks very old, worn out and dirty. The beds are just foam cushions, not mattresses. The food in the restaurant was lacking. The reception staff was slow....we waited in line to check-in for 25 minutes. There was only... more

Stayed in this hotel on the 9/08/08, it was used last year by a member of the few that was traveling with us so we looked it up and booked it. When we arrived at the hotel they could not find our booking, when they did they asked us to pay for the room before keys were issued. The room... more

i would compare this to a concrete jungle, access across motorway was almost impossible. Advertised 24hour bar which didn't exist. Bedrooms are cold and sparse. Drainage in shower unit was blocked. We had breakfast, food was serviced lukewarm. No atmosphere. I wouldn't stay here again nor recommend it to anyone. more

Arrived at this hotel for a girlie weekend away. Flew in, then a bus into town, then the tram for the hotel. The hotel is situated literally on the otherside of a Motorway... e.g. by foot its awful to get to. Went to check in, and was asking information to the hotel staff, about buses, how to get to the... more

Stayed here off and on for a few years now. More recently been staying in the north of the city, but came back here for a change. Change is the right word. Stayed in one of the recently redecorated rooms and, although nordic in it's sparseness, it was very comfortable. The bed still has the rubber/plastic mattress cover but it... more
