I booked this hotel based on a Travel Channel recommendation. I could have sworn that they said it was a 10-minute walk to the city centre, but what we found was that it was really a 30-minute bus ride. I’m not sure what I missed there, but obviously something. Having said that, I will still say that the hotel was... more

This is a very average accommodation. The room was clean but the décor was pretty basic and in need of a revamp. The hotel is on the far end of Ballsbridge around 40 minutes walking (nice walk) from the town centre (but several busses are available). Reception staff was neither friendly nor rude. A bit of a queue at chek... more

A beautiful 19th century building stands gracefully in a great location. I must admit, location (beside RDS) is a priority . I traveled to Dublin for the event. It is a quiet area too! To my disappointment receptionists were impersonal, no friendliness whatsoever, very business like. Well I can understand, the queue was too long, staff (in reception and bar/restaurant)... more

Ballsbridge is a very nice area of Dublin, it's quite quiet which was ideal for me as was the location which was close to where I was working. There isn't much to do in the local area but it's not far from Rathmines or the city centre itself. I found the hotel room was a few degress too cool even... more

I am a business traveler and stayed in this hotel on and off for couple of weeks. Must say I am not impressed..The hotel itself needs refurbishment, but I would 'forgive' that if staff was more attentive. Ladies at the reception seems to be very tired/unhappy at their work and completely unfriendly. If you want to use WIFI don't check-in... more

Hey- Stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is nice, very clean and comfortable but on the Saturday night I was woken up by people making noise out in the hallway. Very annoying. Breakfast on the Saturday morning was fine but on the Sunday morning as the restaurant was busier the staff did not pay much attention so didnt have... more

I travel to Dublin on business quite regularly and have been staying in the Bewleys on and off for the last few weeks. The hotel is in a rather nice old building and well situated for the south side of Dublin. There is a bus stop right outside and the AirCoach from the airport also stops here. Although the rooms... more

This Hotel is in a great location for anyone travelling to the RDS. The accommodation is fine - nothing too extravagant but perfectly functional and clean. The reception area is always busy with long queues so plan your time accordingly. The food in their restaurant and snack lobby is excellant and very refreshing. Its a bit far from the city... more
