Fantastic hotel! location was spot on, staff were friendly and the place had bags of character. The nightclub below was loud but didnt prevent you from sleeping. Dublin is a great city to explore although it is expensive. We stayed for 2 nights and arrived just after christmas, definately the best way to cure boxing day blues. We arrived early... more

20 November 2008 We had an extremely enjoyable 2 day (1 night) trip to Dublin on 18-19 November. We booked 2p Ryanair return flights from Newcastle and stayed at the Dublin Citi Hotel. (We had to pay £16 for credit card handling fees - £4 per person per flight - but if you pay with an Electron Card there are... more

I came here with my boyfriend for a 3 night stay during the week (monday to thursday) we paid £144 each for the whole holiday which included room and breakfast. The receptionists were really nice and helped us with anything we wanted to know. The room was lovely, although a little cramped but very clean and comfy. The breakfast was... more

We arrived at The CitiHotel on the 10th Nov and stayed for two nights. We found the reception staff to be helpful enough, looking after our luggage until rooms were ready and giving directions. I had read reviews before going and so was expecting the bar and club beneath the hotel. The room we got was directly above the bar... more

When booking this hotel online, at HostelBookers, I was asked if I wanted an early check-in, I did and stated an approximate arrival of 10:00. We arrived at the hotel at 10:30 but were told no rooms were ready and that check-in time was 14:00. I explained I'd booked an early check-in but this didn't bother the receptionist one bit.... more

I was in Dublin in May for a Bruce Springsteen concert and booked a single room for two nights in this hotel. I should have guessed from looking at the hotels website that it wasnt going to be a great hotel as the bedroom looked tiny in the picture and surely they would display a picture of the best room... more

We booked the hotel before reading the reviews. Then we got scared. But we had a great time. The receptionist was pleasant and although the room wasn't massive, it was comfortable and nice. The bar tender even treated us to a free drink. However, at breakfast we were asked if we were residents and felt we shouldn't be there. Despite... more

If you want a truly bad experience while visiting the capital of Ireland stay at this hotel. On the second night of our stay we were subjected to the rants and disturbing behavior of a neighbor. When eventually I complained at 4am. The staff simply did little or nothing. After three compliants, the staff more or less informed the man... more

My brother and I have just returned from a four night stay at this hotel on Dame Street, which we booked online at a special rate of €79 per night including a full Irish breakfast. The Dublin Citi Hotel is quite possibly the worst place I have ever stayed. On the website it did warn that there was a nightclub... more

This hotel is situated in Temple Bar - So don't stay here if you're planning on a quiet trip to Dublin!! Granted, the hotel can be noisy but that's to be expected in this lively area. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Our shower broke on the first night, but this wasn't a problem as the Hotal Management were... more
