I am a travelodge fan. You usually get somewhere cheap, clean and warm but that is all. We always are out and about, eating in cafe's or pubs, so all we want is a place to sleep and that is what travelodge is for. This Travelodge was poor. The heating was on a movement sensor, so that it only came... more

There was nothing nice about this place! On arrival, there were several problems with the room: 1. I booked a double room and I was given a room with 2 single beds. 2. The cold tap didn't work in the bathroom. 3. The shower hose was torn so the shower was not useable. 4. Grouting in the bathroom was all... more

Upon checking into my double room, things appeared to be fine. However, when I laid on the bed, the bed slopped downwards. It was very very uncomfortable. As a result, we looked for a new hotel the very next day. The location of this hotel also was very good, as it cost 15 Euros for cap to the Guiness Storehouse.... more

This is a very good value hotel compared with prices elsewhere in Dublin. As with all Travelodges, you get what you pay for - reasonably sized clean and comfy room with tv and kettle etc, and a spotless bathroom. A little impersonal as there is no bar or restaurant, though breakfast can be provided in your room (for a small... more

We were visiting relatives in Rathmines so we chose the hotel for its location and did not expect much, boy were we surprised. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds my husband and I have ever slept in. Our room was small and the television was ridiculously tiny but the bed was so comfortable that we could not... more

Stayed there for 4 nights & the room was massive which was a big plus,it was clean & the shower was ok but just make sure you get the mix of hot & cold water just right & make sure it stays at the same temperature for a few seconds before you get in, after that it was ok, there... more

I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. Easy to find - Buses stop right in front of the entrance! The bus ride into city center (O'Connell Street) is approx 10-15mins. The room was clean, warm and large. TV, kettle and hairdryer provided. I have stayed with Travelodge before and can honestly say that I have never... more

The criticism levelled at this travelodge seems unfair to me. I've stayed here on three occasions over the last months as it is a close to a training location. Each time I have booked via lastminute.com and got great rates, often cheaper than B&Bs in the area. If you are coming to Dublin for a romantic getaway then i'd hazard... more

Booked for one night in Dublin, and the location was very good - just 10 minutes on the bus from the City Centre. We checked in, and was very impressed by the room - it was enormous. The main problems were bathroom related. The hot tap in the sink would not turn on (it was seazed because it was too... more

E150 for our one night stay, wasnt worth E50. Got to the hotel there was no one at reception, note stated "back in 10mins". After 15 in she waltzed, there was no where for us to park after checking in. The room was a little on the shabby side and the towels were thin and grubby. I would not chose... more
