Staff employed simply do not seem to be trained in customer servive. We made the booking directly with the hotel over the phone and they promised to send on written confirmation which they never did. On arrival, they had no record of this. Luckily there was a room available however, it was a smoking room and the smell still lingered.... more

We have stayed in this hotel on many an occasion and think it is fantastic value. Rooms are very comfortable, spacious, and beautifully decorated. I would reccommend it for anyone. Stayed here in Nov 2006 whilst on a rugby trip and a whistlestop tour of the town. Really enjoyed the hotel.
