My wonderful experience with Rosquil House began with friendly and helpful emails with Rhoda booking our rooms for our stay. She was genuine and warm, making me feel welcomed already! We stayed for one night here in our travel through Ireland in September. The Rosquil House itself is newly built and it shows with clean lines and a charming beauty.... more

The Rosquil House was perfect for our one-night stay in Kilkenny. This bed and breakfast is only a few years old and the bedroom and bathrooms are spacious and sparkling clean - all for a very fair price. The owners gave us wonderful recommendations for dinner and sight-seeing and the breakfast was delicious. It's located approx. 5 minutes from downtown... more

The proprietor and her daughter were genuinely friendly and interested in us. The house is on a non-descript road, which belies the comfort and graciousness within. Large, comfortable and pleasant room and ensuite bath, an attractive sitting room for guests, and the most gourmet cooked to order breakfast that we experienced in over 2 weeks in Ireland. If you are... more

What else can I say??? it's all been said. I found it by accident, was driving by with my dad and saw it. I just fell in love with Rhoda and Phil, the room she gave me was magical, the tea tray was fantastic, wished I had found one to bring it home... the bathroom was wonderful, and the breakfast...... more

Date: 30 Oct 2008 From: Hong Kong Totally agreed with other travellers' latest views & comments, Rosquil House is a good B&B we visited. Phil & Rhoda were warm and helpful. The rooms including bed rooms and sitting room were tidy and comfortable. We like the stove very much in such cold weather when our members gathered and talked in... more

We agree with the high rating given to Rosquil House. Phil and Rhoda were excellent hosts. The room was immaculate and comfortable, and they were extremely helpful, when we had a problem with our cell phone and had to make an international call. Their help certainly went beyond what we would have expected but it was surely welcome. The breakfast... more

We have just returned from a two weeks trip in Irelnad, and had several, top class B&B during this time. The Rosquil House was by far the best of all other B&B we visited. Pro: ####### 1. Phil & Rhoda are so warm and welcoming. Trying to help you get around and immediately opened the newspaper to let us know... more

Purpose built B&B a short distance from Town Centre with lots of private off road parking. Room was incredibly well designed and thoughtfully / opulently furnished. Very very comfortable and owners cannot do enough to help make your stay enjoyable. Breakfast reveals an amazing range of choices including pears poached in white wine and wonderful breads and jams. The hot... more

On a two week tour of Ireland, we spent two nights at Rosquil House. Rhoda provided a warm welcome and we enjoyed a comfortable stay at this new property. We appreciated the on-site car park and the clean, spacious rooms. Breakfast was good, but the morning DJ and rock music on the radio seemed at odds with the quiet surroundings... more

This was one of the best B and Bs we stayed at during our 2 weeks in Ireland. I can't add much more to the already stellar reviews, but I had to add my own two cents because this was just so good. Phil and Rhoda were gracious, friendly, and immensely helpful. The rooms were spotless and our breakfast delicious.... more
