We stayed for 3 nights a this hotel which was a very nice surprise regarding value for money!! The room had an very big and comfortable bed, the bathroom was very clean and the room was spacious. The standard of the room was very good - no flaws at all. We has hoped to try the sky-bar but unfortunately it... more

We stayed at the Beacon on a business trip, and for our purposes it was brilliantly located (near M Street). The room was a very good size, with a seating area and kitchen. Strangely, there were cooking rings there - but no pans! Not sure if they'd expected me to bring them with me from the UK. It would have... more

I spent a Friday night at the Beacon and even though we didn't spend much time there, it was a decent stay. I love their restaurant/bar and they have a great location. I felt the room was too warm and hard to control the temperature. Also the water pressure could have been better and I had difficulty with the shower... more

We arrived at the Beacon on Saturday 09/20 and stayed just one night. I booked a double room with a request for a King size bed. Our room (#613) was huge with a nice bed, a sofa, 2 TV, a kitchen with fridge, microwave, etc. And we only paid $123 including taxes and fees!! The parking was just $24 for... more

Stayed at the Beacon for Labor Day wkend/3 nites. Got a great deal on Washington.org. The room was "Deluxe King" on the 2nd floor. Very small room and really small bathroom. (Probably would have been better with a smaller sized bed. Glad I was traveling alone because I couldn't imagine trying to share the space with another person.) BUT -... more

This was a very cute hotel! The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was nice, and the rooftop bar had an amazing view of DC! Though the room was on the small side, our king sized bed fit very comfortably and the staff was friendly. The valet did well (and we hate valet!) and overall, we had a very comfortable... more

We stayed at the Beacon hotel for four nights, had one double and one king suite. The hotel is very central. We took the train only once during our visit and were easily able to walk to the Mall, museums and other places of interest. DuPont circle with great restaurants is just a 10 minute walk! The rooms were very... more

We stayed from the 28th June - 5th July 2008. The staff were so friendly and helpful from the minute we checked in. Even the porters "gooed and gaahed" over our 1 year old son and it was great to not be made to feel like lepars because we were travelling with kids. Everytime we saw a staf member, in... more

HOtel was well located, very clean and recently renovated. The bed was comfortable and had a cream colored spread, such a change from the usual ghastly patterns. My only complaint is that the bathtub was quite slippery and there wasn't a bar to hang on to. We used a towel. They could at least have a rubber bath mat if... more
