Well, talk about getting good information from TripAdvisor! I don't think I've stayed at too many places that live up to the outstanding reviews they get on sites like this, but I have to say ( which is why I'm writing this) that this hotel was perfect in every way. Very clean, big rooms, beautiful pool, and a restuarant that... more

I really can't disagree with any of the reviews. Although the hotel is outside of the main town it is only a few minutes walk to the night markets and several really high quality riverside restaurants. It is in a peaceful little side street with some great local bars and a supermarket nearby. We got a huge room for some... more

This is a lovely little hotel. A quiet oasis close to the centre of town. We had a deluxe room which was huge - my only observation was that the AC was a little noisy. The pool is fantastic and very welcome after a long days sightseeing. The room was well decorated, bed comfortable and a great bathroom with walk... more

This place is the best. We are a family of 4 and spent 4 nights in the family room. The staff are super friendly, the restaurant is a lovely spot with great food at good prices. Our room was a very good size and kept us happy. Our kids, aged 12 and 10, loved the pool. We walked every day... more

This was the best hotel we've stayed at - possibly ever! The staff were the friendliest we met while travelling through Thailand - incredibly helpful too. Free transfers, free internet, very good breakfast, good location - very close to the night bazaar etc. Clean, good sized quiet pool. The rooms were spotless with excellent air conditioning. Worth every penny! more

Right from the day we first entered the Rimping Village we were treated so very special. Over the 6 nights we stayed i felt a part of a family. They make sure we are taken care of and all our needs are met. But we still had our privacy. Relaxing by the pool is sooo relaxing. Our room had all... more

I stayed 6 nights in Rimping Village in July and it was a great find in Chiang Mai! I agree with all the previous reviewers that rooms are spotless, pool is adequate, restaurant is lovely and food is great value for money (Try the papaya salad with sticky rice!) But what really makes this hotel truly outstanding is the amazing... more

Thanks to my taxi meter driver who took me to this piece of paradise. Arm, the hotel staff, welcomed warmly with his great fakeless smile and cheerfulness. Found other staff greeted similarly and overall so caring. Where you can ask hotel staff to buy your supper at rainy midnite (and not for once)? Have you been affixed with betadine on... more

I have just come back from Thailand after two weeks travelling around the country. This hotel was definitely one of the highlights. The service was amazing, the location was perfect and the room was lovely. I could not fault them in anyway. They even dropped us off at the station on the way back to Bangkok and helped us on... more

This place probably doesn't need another 5* review praising their staff but here goes - they are friendly, efficient and make the stay at this hotel. The grounds are great - the 'Thai-ness' of the architecture is not overdone - the enormous Banyan tree reminds you where you are. The location is good - you can walk to the night... more
