We've stayed here the past two years for the August American Idol concert. We'd prefer to stay on the boardwalk, but everything decent is $250 and $350 a night. For half that, you can stay here. This is a no-frills hotel, but that doesn't mean it's completely without style. It is very well-kept; our room was impeccable. The beach in the back is a nice touch. Not the type of hotel I would stay to "hang out" in, just a place to sleep at night. Love love loved the free breakfast! No complaints whatsoever. more

Hotel is on bayside and not walking distance to casino's. The hotel has not been updated for a while but my room was clean. Breakfast was the standard continental Hampton fare. Price was significantly lower than casino's. more
