Stayed at this hotel previously 18 months ago. Same great location; some well chosen refurbishments, and the same fabulous staff. Not a luxury hotel, but furnishings adequate and kept beautifully clean. Hotel is right next to main road and main shopping street, however I never found noise or disturbance to be a problem.
