Service at the pool is awful. Servers hang out at the bar and ignore the guests, stop by every 2.5 hours to see if you need anything else. They goofed up my order 40% of the time. After you beg for a menu they will tell you that they will be right back, you will never see that staff member... more

Stayed 3 nights last week. Physically a nice convention hotel. Very large with spectacular common areas. Room was oversized, clean and nice. Wonderful hotel. Fantastic pools and lazy river. Very nice public areas for relaxing and having a beer. Absolutely fantastic golf course - we played the Palmer Signature course. Its worth sitting thru the time share high-pressure sales spiel for the free rounds of golf. more

My stay at the JW Marriott was fantastic. The staff was always very friendly...everytime they saw you they always smiled and said hello. Upside: Nice pools fun for entire family. Lazy River was great! Excellent service. Nice people. Rooms good size with nice comfortable beds. Downsides Internet access fee $13/day with advertised as hi-speed was acting like dialup with 1 -2 minute per website speed. (Marriott staff refunded the fee. Since the resort opened, I have stayed at this location three times now. It seems the quality of service, with the exception of the hotel lobby and greeting staff, has gone downhill considerably.
