I was in town for a business meeting, but due to Homecoming at ASU, my hotel in Tempe was sold out for the final night. I was looking for a mid-priced resort in the hills to relax and maybe do some hiking, so Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs seemed like a good choice. The rooms themselves are very nice. Mine was... more

This hotel is fantastic. It is built up into the Mountain Preserve. The all-suite property is spread out over 88 acres. Service was very nice. In-room dining was prompt and delicious. The overall price was a real bargin. Check out a AAA rate. I had a nice view of the hills. There is an LCD TV in the living area... more

I attended a 5 day conference onsite sponsored by an employer. I travel quite a bit on business so I can compare offerings and expectations. There is no complimentary transportation from the airport, so prepare to pay either a towncar or Super shuttle both ways. Expensive and not expected for a large resort hosting business conventions on a regular basis.... more

Just returned from our family's belated summer vacation. Overall this trip exceeded our expectations. Here are some high points: - Room set up was great for our family of 3 (my son is almost 2). There were three distinct parts- family room, bathroom pass through, master bedroom with plenty of room to walk around the pack&play/crib. - Our location on... more

Went there to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary. There was absolutely nothing to do if you did not want to hang out at a pool or play golf. The balcony faced the balconies of other residents so there was no scenery - we drove to Sedona. Parallel parking on an incline was the highlight of the day. Not our cup... more

For some reason, I really like this place. It’s true that you if you enjoy walking and climbing with no cell phone service followed by more walking and climbing (with 100F) then this resort is for you. The room was above average (except for the tiny bathroom) and well maintained. The only complaint was not being able to use the... more

Nice property, rooms were fantastic..spacious, clean and nicely furnished. Main concern was the inability to use your cell phone in the rooms and the lack of a fridge. Keep your hiking boots because you'll need them. Overall good experience. more

After receiving an email, while we were in New Mexico, from Hilton hotels telling me of a great deal for three nights including a Sunday at two Hilton resorts in Phoenix, as were were on our way to Phoenix (how did they know? - was it because I had made enqiries on the internet before leaving the UK?), we drove... more

My husband and I live in the area and wanted to get away for the weekend, relax by the pool and enjoy what a resort has to offer. After much searching and review reading we chose the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort. We booked for a 3 day weekend. They were having a summer special $99.95 per night. We arrive... more

We were given a room that had a view of two parking lots. They claim to have 8 pools and we were closest to the Presidential Pool. There was nothing presidential about this pool that was closer in size to my bathtub then a resort pool. There is a lovely complex of pools but no joke about 10 minutes away,... more
