This hotel is located right in the middle of Chinatown, just north of Los Angeles' downtown. As far as location goes, you can't get much better as most any place is accessible by car. It's near the 10, 5, 101 and 110 freeways. On the other hand, the immediate surroundings aren't the best, but typical of the Los Angeles downtown... more

Their customer service was beyond rude! (They are cold blooded liars) I don't have words that can describe my experience that I had encountered. I asked prior to making reservations if they had Internet connection and they told me "yes" I go there the same day pay for my room go upstairs and guess what the internet was having issues... more

Hotel staff was nice. Room was clean but small. The location was good. The outside of the building is a bit run down. Overshadowing the acceptable aspects of this hotel is the most terrible breakfast, the filthy cafe and patio. The first dilemma is deciding whether you can eat the food from the cafe and not get sick. The milk... more

I loved this little hotel! It was more like international travel than like being in L.A. The hotel is in chinatown on the 2nd and 3rd floor of a building with a cute courtyard with tables and Chinese businesses on the first floor. The room was huge, very clean, modern and very quiet. Our windows faced out with a view... more

We knew when we booked that we needed a hotel close to Union Station. The 'Best Western' accreditation made this a reasonable choice. So, despite a couple of 'iffy' ratings on this site it was booked. The room was alright : drab, a little odourous, but after arriving after a long day travelling at 9pm we would sleep ok. The... more

I stayed at this hotel with a group of friends. We where on a budget so this was a great choice. The rooms where very clean, large, the beds where comfortable. It's located in chinatown, and a little far from the main attractions, but in LA you have to rent a car to get to where your going, so it... more

We needed to attend a convention and the other hotels were overpriced. This one was not cheap for the money and the breakfast was a joke. The staff is nice and helpfull. All the rooms are on the 2nd and third floor. You need a room key to go up the elevator and we felt secured with this as not... more

I had a written confirmation that clearly stated the price after all taxes and fees, but then the hotel tried charging $8 more. Parking is $3 if you rent the room directly from the hotel, but they add an additional $5 parking fee if you reserve through outside sources such as internet sites. The room was okay, but my friend... more

Very nice motel. If you want to be near downtown Los Angeles, this is a good location. It was quite, clean, and pleasant. It was not upscale, but was a comfortable place to stay. The location in Chinatown adds color. The breakfast is actually a token that you use in a very small shop located in the same courtyard. There... more

The hotel is in a quiet area of town that shuts down at about 8 pm. I walked into a room where the closet door was off the railing, where the shower head was mouldy, and the ceiling above began leaking the following morning right over the sink outside the bathroom (which is 4x3). The bed spead was just pulled... more
