This hotel in the middle of the LAX matrix of hotel offerings is truly a gem. Outstanding service. Terrific personel, very professional and always accomodating. Ate at the bar with a client. Client wanted a special pasta based on her restrictive diet. Bartender communicated special need to head chef and viola, a great meal was served, and the client was... more

Stayed at the Renaissance 10/22-10/26 and was very pleased. Booked the Renaissance Jaguar Suite package for $289 a night. The Jaguar ended up being a 2008 Mercedes C300 which was great. The suite is one big room, 2 tvs( one is flat screen), a fridge, one king bed, one couch, a coffee table, work desk and chair. The room faced... more

I used TripAdvisor reviews to guide me to this hotel for a weekend trip. Nice place! No problems. I do agree with other users who have stated that the outside could use renovation. The inside, however, is very nice and well-maintained. The maids did a very thorough job. I was in the room at one point while it was being... more

Stayed overnight as first leg of our US trip. Free shuttle bus from the airport. Good size room, nice & clean with a great bed. Check in staff were friendly & helpful, as was the concierge. We ordered the "continental" style breakfast, room service. This was the typical selection of pastries, cereal, fruit bowl, juice & coffee. This was absolutely... more

We stayed at this hotel for one night before our flight to Australia. It's only a couple of blocks from the airport and has a handy shuttle which they share with the Marriott. The shuttle is very clearly marked and runs every 15 mins or so. We had a room on the 2nd floor with 2 doubles. Considering I am... more

This hotel was a 7 pillows-on-the-bed hotel which at first glance seemed very nice, but our room had two major problems. We had luke warm to cool water in the shower - the water simply would not get hot - and the toilet did not flush properly. We worried every time we used it that it would overflow. We were... more

My wife and I stayed here for a single night as we wanted to get out of LA easily the next day down Highway 1 - I'm a Marriott platinum member so tend to get better treatment than the average guest so bear this in mind with my review. I was staying on points and had read about this hotel... more

The large, remodeled rooms on the club floors are great. Decor is W Hotel style - clean and modern. Upscale touches include Cigar Afficionado, Golf Digest & Wine Enthusiast magazines. Lather brand bath products. New carpet, quality bed linens, Two CD/IPOD-capable clock/radios. Soundproof windows, sitting area, 2 TVs (one plasma). Writing desk with lighting & power/internet station, etc. That being... more

This was the third time I have stayed at this property, but this will be my last time. We have had problems each time. The last time they gave us a room that had been made up to look clean, but actually had dirty sheets and a bathroom that had been used. This time the lights did not work and... more

Flying into LA to catch a cruise and needed a place to stay overnight. The Hotel was as I expected for a Marriott. No surprises and most important of all no disappointments. Got a nice rate on a Marriott weekend getaway promotion. Ate dinner at the sports bar/restaurant at the Airport Marriott two blocks down, and breakfast at the hotel... more
