Hubby and I loved it here! He liked doing his morning exercises on the grass and the outdoor lava rock showers. I liked the tasteful, clean decor and large shared bathroom down the hall. The colonial feeling of this lovely home makes it a special place to stay during a visit to the big island. The location is great, between the fancy, Disney-like hotels up in Kona and the volcano in the south. The view is gorgeous even through the vog. Our stay at the Ka'awa Loa Plantation was wonderful. The suite is huge and reasonably priced - great for romantic getaways. The plantation has a great view and wonderful surroundings.
