I got a great deal through Priceline and the rate was definitely good for the stay. The room was big and comfy. Security was friendly. Everything was in a convenient location. Close to shopping, union square, bart and muni. My ONLY complaint is the customer service at the front desk. They were VERY SNOBBY and rushed us. I understand it's... more

Stayed at the Hilton SF for the 2nd time and was really turned off by the staff. Every person I encountered either ignored me or was just rude. I was there for Thanksgiving Weekend - I understand it sucks to work over the holidays but something was really wrong here. The front desk was just mean and unaccommodating and the... more

I booked this hotel on Priceline. . put in Union Square 4 stars and got the Hilton for our $75 bid (we bid the night before). It came to $90 with taxes and fees. The location was OK for Union Square Black Friday shopping. It's not actually on or in Union Sqaure, about two and a half blocks away but... more

Attended a conference here, and since I was traveling with an infant, decided to "splurge" on the conference hotel--I usually stay off site. I thought it would be a good experience for what I was paying--even at a discount conference rate and understanding that this is expensive San Francisco. Instead, I felt nickled and dimed the entire time I was... more

Hubby and I stayed at the Hilton San Francisco for one night in November 2008. The hotel is in a good location, only a few blocks walking distance from Union Square. The main entrance to the hotel is on O'Farrell Street and it has a very large lobby area with a Starbucks off to the side. When we stayed, it... more

Stayed here for a girls weekend. The hotel is nice but the rooms and bathrooms are very small - perfect for two people but no more. The location is nice cuz you're close to a lot of stuff but don't go the wrong way out of the hotel or you'll be in a bad neighborhood (that's what the doorman told... more

Did the 'advance pay' thinking I'd save some money.. by the time I checked in prices had gone down $30/night.. Front desk guy couldn't help at all but the Manager I requested upgraded my room (only spent $5 extra a night).. Went from terrible18th floor view of the pool to 31st floor good city view. the pool wasn't working for... more

Good thing, I booked this hotel via hotwire. This hotel has outdated rooms. The walls are super thin and you can hear your neighbors. Rooms are small and bathroom is tiny. Location was good. I wouldn't say this is a 4 star hotel. Wouldn't stay there again. more

We stayed at the Hilton on a corporate event. The rooms were very nicely appointed. We received a complementary upgrade from a regular King to a Junior Suite King. The bed were very comfortable. Despite the size of the room, the bathroom was a bit too small, we had all of a few square feet of counter space. We had... more

Stayed at the Hilton for 3 nights in Sept 2008. Agree with the others, its Huge and one could spend a half hour just trying to find your room.Booked my room through a third party site and had to pay 250 GBP for the room. Its a classic cookie cutter hotel and while the rooms are good, if you are looking... more
