Staying at the Fairmont Copley Plaza was a fabulous change from the usual business hotel. The renovated rooms are lovely - mine was very big on the corner, with a nice desk area, large flat screen TV and a fireplace with mantle. The bathroom was also nice and new, with a deep bathtub - a real plus! The people who... more

I stayed here for 6 nights while attending a conference in Boston. This is an excellent hotel. It is a very typical Fairmont experience with excellent service, great food and confortable rooms. The rooms are well equipped including high speed internet and hdtv. It is very clean. There is a lot of history throughout the hotel, which was very interesting.... more

If you are looking for a traditional, old Boston experience, Fairmont Copley is the place. The lobby and public rooms are in the "grand-style" with marble columns and panelled walls. The rooms for meetings and events are truly beautifull. The sleeping room was more than satisfactory: very good furnishings and window treatments, comfortable bed, and the newly remodeled bathroom was... more

As with most English tourists we started our New England trip in Boston. As most of our accommodation was in small inns we decided on a large hotel to start. We've stayed in numerous Fairmonts in the US & Canada and they have always been consistently good. There is no wow factor but equally everything is either just good or... more

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful city! We were lucky enough to be upgraded to 'Gold', which they call a 'hotel within a hotel'. It was this which made our stay extra special, we got a free breakfast every morning of our stay, and all snacks in the kitchen free and cheaper drinks than in the bars. The staff were... more

I stayed at the Gold Level, so can only comment on my particular stay....When I arrived there was a problem with there not being a doorman to take my bags, so I was rather upset...The management practically tripped over themselves to make up for it....A beautiful pecan crusted brie, crackers, fruit, and bottled water brought to my room etc..Call from... more

This old hotel has been refurbished to be super-comfortable, with only minor lapses (so-so water pressure in shower, slightly disorganized restaurant). The staff, however, were uniformly helpful and friendly. Fodor's describes the decor as "over the top", and we would agree (both deer heads and cherubs in the Oak Room dining room, marble and mirrors and gilt and floral carpet... more

I found a great deal on travelzoo.com and booked it through the hotel's actual website. Upon arrival, they accidentally gave us a room key to an occupied room. We went back to the front desk and they immediately upgraded us to the Gold level which is the club level floor. It included a really nice (and free) breakfast. The room... more

The exterior of the Fairmont Copley has always struck me as grandiose and charming, so of course I was thrilled to have the opportunity to stay there. The lobby is absolutely exquisite, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The rooms didn't quite measure up to my expectations based on the exterior and lobby as the one I stayed in... more

My fiancee and I stayed here for 2 nights over Memorial Day weekend. We came up just to spend a couple days in Boston and visit some friends who live there. I stay at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto for work a lot, so I had a couple free nights saved up and suite upgrades, so we were using... more
